There is a blood test you can take, its called the Western Blot test, you should ask your Dr to test you. Do you have it anywhere else? Do you ever get them on your face? I have been using an herbal tincture on mine, its licorice root and st johns wort, I think it works just as well as the cream the dr gave me and its natural with no side effects. It burns when you first put it on because it has alcohol in it but I kinda like it because I know its disinfecting it. It really helps with the tingling and itching after about a day. Eczema can kind of look like herpes. My baby had a cluster of bumps on her butt and just about got sick thinking I had infected her but I put some diaper rash cream on it and the next time I changed her I could tell it was eczema. If you live near a good natural food store there is some stuff called Baby Cream that works really well for eczema. It is a little pink container with bears on it and it just oils and herbs. If you have herpes and eczema you really need to be careful not to spred the herpes into the eczema so you should try to get the eczema under control if you have both. I would like to think that you couldnt get it from a hospital bed pan because they clean them good but you never know, was that recently? I really think you should ask your dr for that specific blood test so you'll know for sure and not have to worry so much. And it will be easier to treat if you know exactly what you are dealing with.
