Why is the fact that the eruptions do not cross the midline of the body important?
Shingles rarely crosses the midline of the body because it travels along the path of nerves, wich rarely cross the midline of the body. This helps to diognose Shingles.
Hi,
That it should be important that the shingles rash doesn't cross the midline of the body is news to me.
I do know that the shingles rash typically sticks to one side of the body. This makes diagnosis easier.
Where did you get this information? Can you post a link to it?
