Herpes: Does it Leave Scars?
In principle Herpes can leave scars but it is not very common.
There are several types of Herpes and the most common are
- Herpes Simplex 1: Causes Oral Herpes -
cold sores - Herpes Simplex 2: Causes Genital Herpes
- Herpes Zoster: Causes chickenpox and
shingles
They all have symptoms that start with a rash that turns into
blisters which then turn into a dry scab. The Herpes Zoster
symptoms are often itchy or painful and if you scratch them
repeatedly and with force, you do risk scarring. To avoid
this you may take painkillers or use and anti itch or local
anesthetic cream.
The symptoms of Oral and Genital are usually not itchy or painful
but can be quite unattractive. You should have no reason
to scratch the scab and therefore it should leave no scars

I believe I have genital herpes. It was not itchy or painful. It was like little blister and went away after taking the medicine. But I can still see the scar (it is not very visible but I still can see the faded spot where it used to be). The site says this kind of herpes would not leave scar. Is mine an exception? Will it go away completely eventually?
All herpes has the potential
All herpes has the potential to leave some scars. Sometimes it's more likely than others. Try some Vitamin E on the scar to help it fade more. There are other products out there but Vitamin E is the most natural.

two year ago, I started to shave my private part and a week later I have this red bumb where i shake, I thought it's blister so I pop it, and it leave a small scar. 8 months later i have another bumb appeared and it just like before so I pop it. Sometime it itch. But I never have sexually active. A year later I was pressure into sex with my ex (protected) and learn about herpes recently. It this possible that I have herpes?

so what will happen if u have like a lil scar nd its a bump is it herpes nd if i have sex nd i use protection can i still get it
